Brenda Coelho Fonseca

 

Brenda Coelho Fonseca is Ph.D. in History at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro - UNIRIO (Coordination of Personal Development at Higher Education - Capes Scholarship). Currently is a researcher at the Centre for Social Studies - CES, University of Coimbra, and integrates the ECHOES project - European Colonial Heritage Modalities in Entangled Cities, funded by the European Commission (Horizon 2020). She is a member of the Memory, History and Documentation Nucleus - NUMEM/UNIRIO. In 2017 was an intern at the Department of Anthropology of the University Institute of Lisbon - ISCTE-IUL, and a visiting researcher at the Center for Research in Anthropology of Portugal - CRIA. Former a UNESCO consultant (2014-2017) and director of Hélio Oiticica Art Center, in Rio de Janeiro (2011-2013). Former member of research projects at National Artistic and Historic Heritage Institute - IPHAN, from 2006 to 2017.
